At Lakeshore Childcare Community Childcare Centre, it is our responsibility to meet all licensing requirements.

The Ministry of Education is responsible for annual inspections.  Lakeshore Community Childcare Centre's Annual Inspection Reports are accessible here.

Inspectors from the City of Toronto annually visit child care centres unannounced to perform an Assessment for Quality Improvement. 

  • The ratings are on a 5 point scale 

  • This rating only represent a “snapshot” of the day the Analyst visits

  • This rating purpose is to assist parents in finding quality child care programs

All feedback will be reviewed and responded to as appropriate.

Service Animals & Support Persons

Individuals with disabilities are welcome to enter our premises with a service animal or support person.
If it is not visibly clear that the animal is a service animal, staff may request supporting documentation.

Temporary Disruptions

If services or accessible facilities are temporarily unavailable, LCCC will provide notice, including:

  • Reason for disruption

  • Expected duration

  • Alternate options (if available)

Notices will be posted at the affected location and online when appropriate.

Accessibility Compliance Report

We file an Accessibility Compliance Report every three years, as required under the AODA.
