Harjot

Jassal

Registered Early Childhood Educator

Hi! My name is Harjot Kaur Jassal and I’m an RECE at LCCC. I was born in India, and I completed my ECE diploma at Sheridan College in Brampton, graduating in December 2024. I started as a supply staff at LCCC in March 2024, and I am so thrilled now to be a full-time member of the Lakeshore team. I truly enjoy working with young children, watching them grow and develop, and being part of their learning journey. It’s amazing to see them reach new milestones, from their first words to their little moments of independence. I especially love engaging in hands-on activities with the children, whether it’s through arts, crafts, or creative play. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family. I always keep alive the inner child in myself by painting, exploring different creativity through art.

I enjoy getting to know all my children and their families.  I love doing arts and crafts which is implemented in our programming. My daughter Tyanna (TT) was also a part of the daycare since the toddler room. She enjoyed being part of such a great community. My job as an educator is to make sure your little one is well taken care of and ensure they have an amazing time here at LCCC.

 Michelle Chiaverotti

Early Childhood Assistant

Hi, My name is Michelle

I am so happy to be working at LCCC, and to be a part of this very special tight-knit community.

I have had much experience with children in my lifetime including being a home daycare provider. I have also been a scouts Canada leader, an Etobicoke youth soccer league coach, and a Sunday school teacher. I have also been the chairperson of two school advisory boards.

Though I do have a special place for all children, I really enjoy toddlers the most. I find it exciting to see them grow and achieve each milestone. I enjoy reading to them and singing songs and sometimes just being silly. I have a genuine compassion for each child and their unique personalities.

My spare time is spent in the Northwoods hiking, camping and kayaking

RANIQUE
KING

Registered Early Childhood Educator

Hi, my name is Ranique Angelica King and I am a RECE at LCCC. I was born in Toronto, and come from a background of Guyanese and Portuguese heritage. I completed my ECE diploma at Humber College, graduating in November 2024. My journey with LCCC began in February 2025 as a supply educator, and I am so excited to now be a full-time educator in the toddler room. I have experience working with children of all age groups from infants to school-age , but I truly enjoy teaching toddlers. Whether it’s reading stories or engaging in hands-on learning activities, I find so much joy in supporting their growth and development. As a RECE, I take great pride in nurturing young minds by creating an inclusive and safe environment. I strongly believe that the early years are the most important in a child’s life, as they shape who they become as adults. Outside of work, I enjoy acting in TV shows, dancing, and traveling to tropical countries. I also have a passion for writing and hold a Book Publishing Certificate, with plans to one day publish my own children’s book.
