summer CAMP
Every day at Lakeshore Community Childcare Centre Summer Camp is always a new adventure! We provide fun and engaging program activities or pursuits they like. At LCCC Summer Camp, your child will develop solid friendships, enjoy new experiences, build lasting connections with fellow campers. Our experienced educators will scaffold your child's learning to support development.
Calendars will be sent out in June. On the form, you will see a different theme every week which includes:

Entertainment - every Tuesday or Friday

Trips - every Wednesday or Thursday

Throughout the week we will also make use of the beautiful naturalized spaces surrounding our daycare and neighbourhood with local walks.
We will spend lots of time outdoors and we will implement activities in different areas of our outdoor play spaces as much as possible. Other parts of programming such as art, sensory exploration, dramatic play, science experiments, and group experiences are part of our daily curriculum.
Every day your child will be served:

On trip days children will be provided a packed lunch.

Deposits:
A $100 deposit per child is required to confirm registration. This amount will be credited toward the total camp fees on April 3rd, 2026
You will receive an invoice from QuickBooks (QBO) for the initial deposit, after receiving an confirmation email with payment details.
The deposit will be processed through Plooto with your banking details on file.
Subsidized Families (Toronto Children’s Services - TCS): Families receiving a subsidy are exempt from paying the deposit.
Payments:
External Families payments for camp will be made by Pre-Authorized Debit (Plooto)
You will be billed for all registered camp weeks on May 15th, 2026. (unless alternate arrangements are made)
Invoices for full camp fees will be sent through QBO, one week prior to the payment due date May 15th, 2026
Subsidized Families: Camp fees will be based on their assessed daily fee from TCS.
Failure to complete payment by May 15th. may result in your child losing their camp space. Any NSF will result in a $30 charge added to your fee, and you may lose your spot. Please ensure you have funds available.
Camp Cancellations/Refunds:
All camp cancellation requests must be made in writing to Lakeshore Community Childcare Centre by email to lccc@rogers.com
Camp cancellation requests must be made in writing BEFORE May 11th, 2026 via email for full refund, including the Deposit,
Camp cancellation requests AFTER May 11th until June 8th, 2026 are subject to a full refund less the initial deposit
Camp cancellation requests received AFTER June 8th,are generally not eligible for refunds
Refunds for cancellations after this date may only be considered under exceptional circumstances
IF APPROVED, refunds will be issued minus the Deposit, and an additional $25 administration fee per week, per camper.
Consideration for approval will depend on the ability to fill the vacated spot.
Please note it may take up to 2-4 weeks to receive your refund, which will be deposited in the same account as withdrawn.
Summer Camp Hours
Our summer camp hours are 7:15-6:00PM
A late fee of $1.00 a minute will be applied for pick-up after 6pm
Waitlist:
If the week you chose is sold out you'll be asked if you would like to be put on the waitlist for that week.
The waitlist will be on a first come, first serve basis. If a spot becomes available we will notify you.
