Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday, lasting eight days in December. Usually, Hanukkah starts in late November to mid-December. This 2022, Hanukkah starts the evening of December 18 and ends on December 26.
It is to celebrate the ancient miracle of the oil burning a candle for eight nights. Each night is marked with the lighting of one candle on a special branched candleholder called a menorah for eight nights.
In addition to the lighting of the candles, traditional foods are eaten, gifts are exchanged and children play holiday games during Hanukkah.
To the families who celebrate , we wish you love light and peace this Hanukkah.
