Honouring Christie — 3 Years Later
May 2nd marks three years since the sudden passing of our dear Christie Leja.
For those new to LCCC, Christie was not only a staff member but also a former LCCC child, volunteer, and the daughter of our former Director, Lisa Tjernstrom.
She was a bright light in our community — full of laughter, music, and unwavering kindness.
Her spirit continues to live on in the work we do and the love we share here every day. Christie will always be part of the LCCC story, and we hold her close in our hearts.
