The holidays are an important time to spend with family and friends. It’s also a time when children form connections and create memories that last a lifetime. These last few months of the year have also been filled with family celebrations in many cultures. This time of year presents a unique opportunity to teach children about different celebrations and observances such as Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Christmas! At LCCC we focus on ensuring that all children feel welcome and have a true sense of belonging! Also having the opportunity to participate in crafts, songs and learning from their own culture and that of others. These moments are powerful learning lessons.
