Panini Party for the Papas (And Grown Ups Who Love Us!)

Last week LCCC put on our 2nd annual event to pump up and party with the special grown ups often called DADS! Our first ever Panini Party was a celebration thrown by Lakeshore staff and children to celebrate the dads, caregivers, papas and grown ups who show love to the littles in their life. There were snacks, Beef sliders, Grilled cheese Panini laughs, conversations and special guest DJ Davin " spining the ones and twos"....It all started with the love shared between a child and their special grown up.

PREPPING PRESENTS

The weeks leading up to the Panini Party, classrooms were busy creating hand-made gifts for their much loved dad or adult. This year we were particularly impressed with the variety of hand-made gifts across our centre that seem to double as not only memorable keepsakes, but also as functional household items!

TODDLERS

Toddlers prepared beautiful hand painted aprons so their special adult can stay clean & tidy during cooking!

TO LOVE IS TO BE LOVED

Sharing in these special moments with the children in our care, is a way of getting to know each and every one of them, a little deeper. From choosing what they'd like to create for their special grown up, watching them piece it together one by one, their interpretation of how their parent would appreciate the item, looking unique to every child, and joining the children in an exciting moment of joy to celebrate their caregivers. From start to finish, it's an experience of love for everyone involved.
